From the moment you hear your tyres crunch on the gravel driveway, you know you’ve entered a magical place where the stress of the city just fades away. Our beautifully restored 2 storey Queenslander welcomes you as you pull into the covered carport and step out to get your first look at our amazing 360-degree mountain views. As you breathe in the crisp country air, it dawns on you that something is missing. Noise. Traffic. People. You smile as you realise that the only sound on the gentle breeze is the native birdlife and the occasional ‘moo’ from one of our three resident cows. The silence is heavenly. This exquisite property is set on 33 acres of secluded farmland, ensuring absolute privacy and serenity for you and your guests during your much-deserved getaway. Inside, the house is tastefully furnished with charming country decor. No detail has been overlooked, from the furniture to the bed linen to the tapware, providing the home with a light and fresh character. You will have access to a full state-of-the-art kitchen, including a large air fryer, a large slow/rice cooker, a dishwasher and a microwave. Of course, there is also a pod coffee machine. Make yourself that perfect brew to sip whilst enjoying the crisp morning views from the verandah. There are three large bedrooms with a sleeping capacity for nine people and two separate bathrooms. There is even an office with Wi-Fi if you need to stay connected( but we advise you not to!), which also has a fold-out sofa bed to sleep another two people if required. You can choose to do as much or as little as you want during your stay. For those just wanting to relax, there are luxuries to pamper you, such as the lagoon-style pool with stunning views of the surrounding mountains or the spa bath with equally stunning views of the olive grove and countryside. As the sun dips below the mountains, enjoy the rosy, warm sunset colours from either of the two timber-decked verandahs. You might choose to cook something on the brand-new BBQ while you are there or just open a cool beverage and gaze at the natural beauty of this unique landscape. Once evening falls, you can stoke up the rustic fireplace (firewood provided) and sip your favourite wine whilst enjoying the warmth and watching the dancing flames. Make sure you don’t miss the real show though, which is the clear night sky. You will be entranced by the sheer volume and clarity of the stars on display when you find yourself so far from the city lights. For those wanting a little more activity, the property offers plenty to do. Challenge your friends to a game of billiards on our professional-grade billiards table, or play some darts. Perhaps break out the cricket set or badminton set and give the kids the best day of their life playing games on the expansive grassy grounds. They can even have a hands-on farming experience feeding hay to our three gorgeous (and hungry) cows, Bambi, Iceman and Honey. There is a fire pit in the garden for an outdoor cooking adventure, so don’t forget to pack the marshmallows. If an indoor afternoon is the preferred option, then a large selection of board games is on hand to keep you entertained. All three bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with block-out blinds, and our plush mattresses ensure a great night's sleep in the quiet serenity of the countryside. On top of towels and face washers, we provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms. In the kitchen, you'll find a selection of coffee pods, tea bags, and travel-sized packs of different jams, vegemite, Nutella, peanut butter and honey. For your convenience, we also supply salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar and a selection of spices (Mediterranean mix, chicken seasoning, BBQ blend and garlic and herb salt). There is also a cling film, alfoil and baking paper in the kitchen. Locally, you can find many pristine freshwater creeks, which are absolutely gorgeous and quite suitable for swimming, plenty of hiking trails to choose from, as well as an authentic country pub just 10 minutes away for a cold drink, country-style meal and a chat with some of the locals. All in all, our property offers the opportunity to escape the city’s bustle and indulge in classic country living. It’s quiet, secluded, and absolutely mesmerising in every sense of the word.
