This three bedroom, two bath cabin is a perfect getaway for families or those that want a single level property for their mountain getaway. Located in town with spectacular views of the mountain, this is a must see! Upon entering the cabin, you will see a TV and comfy seating with a wood stove for those chilly vacations. Next you will see a large eat-in kitchen area. The kitchen has everything you need to create your desired meals. There’s plenty of seating with the kitchen bar that has two stools and a large kitchen table that seats eight!!!! The master bedroom includes a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the third bedroom has a full-size bed and a set of twin bunks which is perfect for all the kiddos to share. The second bathroom is located next to the bunk room and includes a washer/dryer and a bathtub. One great addition to the property is the covered seating outdoors. There is a fire pit and grill along with plenty of seating for evening fires and roasting marshmallows. Please, no smoking and no pets. We want our property safe for those that have allergies to animals. Long Shot Cabin has high speed wifi; perfect for those that have to work on vacation or for those kiddos that are homeschooled. It also has trailer parking for those who want to bring their ROVs. First of all, this is managed by a property management company. They only care about making money, not that you have a good experience. The original listing showed that it was handicap friendly. Nothing about the house was friendly for my handicapped wife and we had to leave early. Reservations only refunded $300 for our troubles from a $1400 bill. They have since changed the listing in order to comply with ADA guidelines. The carpet had stains throughout, the Roku on the TV wouldn’t work, and the front storm door wouldn’t open. Messages to host weren’t responded to until after I called the next day. This house is on a busy dusty road, and is essentially a remodeled double wide trailer house. Furniture is dated and worn. AirBnB would not support my claims, and stood on the side of the property owner. They were more concerned about the inoperable TV than they were about the inaccurate listing. I will never rent from Reservations Unlimited again. Not sure about using Airbnb again either.

Red River is an ideal town for walkers. At a little over one mile long, visitors can easily stroll along the sidewalks and take in all the town has to offer. After shopping, skiing or just enjoying all this mountain offers, visitors have the option to not walk at all. The Red River Miner's Transit provides free year-round, seven-days-a-week, wheel chair-accessible service anywhere in town. Skiers especially love the hotel to slope-side service.
