There is a large supermarket (Tesco) 10-15mins walk and 5 min drive from the flat. There is also a smaller convenience store (Sainsbury’s) 1 min walk round the corner.

Excellent transport links to Central London and Gatwick Airport.
The best way to get into Central London is to get the overground train. There are two train stations close to the flat:
1. STREATHAM COMMON TRAIN STATION. This is 10mins walk from the flat and goes to:
VICTORIA - 20mins on train, a main connecting station, where you can walk to Chelsea, Westminster, Buckingham Palace areas.
CLAPHAM JUNCTION - 10mins on train, a main connecting train.
BATTERSEA PARK - 15mins on train, where you can walk to the iconic Battersea Power Station. the riverfront development and the beautiful Battersea Park.
GATWICK AIRPORT - 30mins on train.
2. STREATHAM TRAIN STATION. This is 10mins walk from the flat and goes to:
LONDON BRIDGE - 30mins on train, where you can walk to all main Central London sights.
BLACKFRIARS - 21mins on train, where you can walk to all main Central London sights.
There is also a Northern Line Tube stn (Tooting Broadway) 5 mins away on the bus (bus stop is just round the corner from the flat) and two Tube stns 25 mins walk away (Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec). The Northern Line goes through central London and all other tube lines connect to the Northern Line.
A slightly longer, but great way to see London is to get the bus. There are bus stops (between 1-10 mins walk from the flat) where you can get buses direct to west central and central London.
