Great location, responsive host, highly recommend
Lovely place to go for a walk with the kids or the dogs. There’s a really nice park and playground on the water a few blocks down. The house itself has a nice layout… great space for the kids to play or hang out downstairs. I appreciated the blackout shades in the master bedroom. The back porches would be lovely to enjoy in warm weather.
Had some issues which all boiled down to either the maintenance of the property, the cleaner not doing their job, or unclear or missing instructions so upon my bringing many things to light and the response I received I do believe that future guests will have better experiences. They seem to truly want the guests to be satisfied with the stay and the home and location and even decor and some of the little things were enough for us to want to come back! The people in the area are all very friendly, the proximity to some of the things are all great for our liking. The home/ property itself is beautiful.
Had a great stay and well worth the price. Much more affordable than 3 hotel rooms for our large family. The only downside is that there are no fast food options close by.
Enjoyed the stay - Nice views of the Ohio River. Had a little trouble getting in which was not the fault of the host. I was not use to the electronic lock it lights up once you touch it. However just looking at the lock it didn't appear to be electronic. And there was a lock on the door like you would see from a realtor which is what I was trying to open. But I sent a message and was immediately contacted and was able to get in. Very happy with the communication and would rent again.

Warsaw is a small town but in a GREAT LOCATION: YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME! The town of Warsaw is small and walkable but is a "Retreat" of sorts--there are grocery stores and restaurants within minutes, but it is 20 miles away from major retail outlets and big box stores.
- Within an hour of Louisville, Cincinnati, and Lexington.
- Located between the ARK and Creation Museum--about 40 min drive to both.
- Celebrating? Just 7 miles away, you'll find the Belterra Casino and Golf Course as well as the Ridge Winery (one of many wineries with tasting rooms in the area.)
- Great restaurants and local establishments including Jewell’s on Main and the Sunset Grill
- Take a quick drive to historic Carrollton, KY or Madison, IN for a local festival or to find some antiques
- Old-fashioned ice cream at Shell’s in Vevay, IN (a favorite in our family! We highly recommend the Pralines and Cream.)
- Neeley Family distillery is a local place for Bourbon sampling.
- Deaton's market has a great breakfast selection--if you are from out of town, you must try goetta--traditional German food that is a blend of sausage, oats, and tiny bits of heaven.
- Riverfront Park is just 3 blocks away and has a playground, basketball court, shelter houses, fishing dock (in the late spring/summer) and a paved walking path for your family to enjoy.
- Gallatin County library is also within walking distance to our home.
- Smuggler's Cove Marina has pontoon rentals and transient slips for overnight if you bring your boat.
Warsaw is easily accessed from I-71 from exits 55, 57, or 62. Or you can drive down Hwy 42 from either direction for the scenic highway alongside the river. From Indiana, you can cross the Ohio River in Louisville, in Madison, or at the Markland Dam Bridge, about 5 miles SW of Warsaw.
