房东jarod给了很多线上指引，但因为我只住了一晚而且是工作日，没有遇到，但相信一定是一位很好的老师。公寓是5件卧室和公共区域组成，除了jarod还有另三位男房东，我只遇到了一位，他也很好带我参观了房间介绍了餐厅和浴室的设施，还很客气的请我吃了落地开罗的第一餐，nice Eygptian guy！ 关于房间。整栋公寓比较老，但这毕竟是开罗老城不能要求太高。房子很大，房间布置的很干净很漂亮，还有很多绿植，阳台窗外正对东面，楼层在12楼，前方没有遮挡可以远远看到萨拉丁城堡，和整个伊斯兰区。住的房间的窗面向北面不会太热，也可以看到老城屋顶。房东还给准备了毛巾。 关于周边环境，房子位于伊斯兰区，很local，基本没有游客的区域。位于埃及博物馆，哈利利市，萨拉丁城堡以及科普特区几个景点的中间，去各个地方不算远也不算近。走去地铁站大约1km。有两个个问题，第一个问题是这个位置还是个单行道，晚上这个位置特别的堵车，打车出去或者回来很难，但其实往外走一个路口就会好很多。第二个问题是晚上周围有点热闹晚上会吵的比较晚，还有因为是伊斯兰区域早上5点的宣礼声会更响点。 另外楼里还有一位在学习中文的大学生，如果你是中国人被楼下保安艾哈麦德热情拉去他家做客，请不要惊讶😂，会有很愉快的交流。 总的来说，我很推荐jarod的民宿，在local 体验和较好的住宿环境之间有较好的平衡，再加上很nice的房东，我很推荐哦

I really liked to be at Jarod's place, I felt safe and comfortable. Jarod and Chalid, who I met there are very nice guys, it was pleasure to spend some time with them. I liked decorations at the flat. When you go out, you can enjoy real Cairo and people there. The islamic quarter is just behind the corner and nice coffee shop, bakery or place where you can try coshari is few meters from the door. The room was very clean, good bed with 3 warm blankets were enought in the February. Thank you Jarod for this nice experience!

I had the best experience staying in Cairo at Jarod's place. He was incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cairo.

It is lucky to stay here in my first time in Cairo, the room is tidy with beautiful decorations. Landlord Jarod is so friendly and helpful, and the security guard in this building is really nice. What I also like is the lively neighhood, making me feel like I'm actually living in city.
