Massive cali king bedroom with jacuzzi tub in a private en-suite and full access to all shared spaces including fully equipped kitchen, dining spaces and laundry room. 1 block from public transportation 45 minute ride into NYC 15 minutes from American Dream Mall and MetLife Stadium 10 minute ride to Prudential Center 20 minutes to EWR Airport **No smoking. Small pets allowed with fee. No dedicated parking, but typically available within 2 blocks of home. Door has a cat door that is lockable. Large family home with 3 total private guest rooms on the 3rd floor with all shared living spaces on the 2nd floor. 2 loving cats and your hosts live in the 2 bottom floors. Street parking, only. It is highly recommended to use public transportation if possible. There is typically parking within 2 blocks of the home.

One of the best places I have stayed at! Sarah is an excellent host and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The place is very clean, welcoming and easily accessible to NYC and Newark airport. I loved having DJ, Angel and Riley around and would definitely recommend this! Thank you so much for an amazing experience Sarah :)
Couldn’t stay for long because of certain circumstances but Sarah was so understanding and accommodating. Place was so beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. Will definitely be going back there for a longer stay.
Sarah's place is perfect if you need a place to crash for visiting NY/NJ. She is a great host, always responsive and extremely helpful. The rooms are spotless, you can see she makes a lot of effort with keeping the rooms clean for her guests. I stayed for my NY visit. You can take a bus to a stop (the departing stop is a stones throw away from the place) which is a short walk to Penn Station (stop at Market St bus stop) which will take you to WTC/Oculus under an hour (from the room). Personally, I preferred to Uber to Penn Station. There's a deli, a big grocery store, laundromat and a McDonald's right next to the place which is super convenient. I would definitely consider staying again for future NY visits. Thank you.

Sarah described the place as it was. It was a spacious room, enough for 2 people. She was very friendly and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. She was very flexible for check-in and we were very thankful. We would love to come back for the future. very thankful for allowing us to stay and for being so lovely, friendly and kind as well as her baby boy ( toddler) and her two kitties.

Neighborhood safe and is off major streets, however please be mindful Newark is still a busy city and there are cars and foot traffic at all hours. I have Alexa, air purifier, and fans to help with white noise, if needed.
Grocery stores, restaurants, churches, and salons within blocks.
If you drive/take a taxi/Uber, the drive may only be about 30 minutes to nyc depending on the time you leave and will most likely cost over $60 each way. If you take public transit, there is a $2 bus (13) which takes 15 minutes to a stop .5 mile from Newark Penn Station. There is a PATH or NJ Transit train that’s about $3 each way to Manhattan that takes about another 30 minutes. In total between 45 minutes-1 hr to manhattan for less than $6 each way.
Main drop off points in Manhattan are NYC Penn Station (5 minute walk to Times Square) and the Oculus (massive mall right next to the twin tower memorial site) in Financial District. Both of those locations are connected to the subway to further your travel.
