What an amazing place to stay! We absolutely loved our time in this incredible house. Annie was the perfect host and we felt right at home from the moment we stepped in the door. Amazing location right in the centre of town, yet really quiet and peaceful.

The house was as described and suited our family weekend get together. Plenty of space, well equipped and lovely large bedrooms. Easy walk into town, literally just up the hill and onto the High Street.

From the moment we arrived, we felt totally at home. This house is gorgeous, spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Annie was there to greet us, she is so friendly and accommodating. There were fresh flowers throughout the house and couple bottles of bubbly waiting for us. We were there to attend our nephew's wedding at Colchester Castle, which was only a 6 minute walk, it was the perfect location! There are shops and restaurants just a minute or two walk to High Street, everywhere is easily accessible by foot. The garden is beautiful although we didn't spend much time outdoors because of the time of year, still a bit too chilly to enjoy. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of parking available and the location is very quiet and quite private. Our next trip back, we will be staying in Annie's house for sure. Thanks for everything Annie - best trip ever!

Annie has the most gorgeous home, very quirky and old with lots of character. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we enjoyed getting family and friends together for our Twixmas stay.

Lovely Georgian house get away, very large space which is excellently well located in the centre of town. The resident cat, Hargie, was well behaved. Anne was a friendly host and communicated well.
