Spanning 41 square meters, a cozy yet functional retreat includes a living area with panoramic canal vistas, 2 bedrooms with king beds (the shower is in one of them), a kitchen and a toilet. One bedroom seamlessly transforms into an extended living space with retractable glass walls, creating an airy, open-plan experience. The space is fully equipped for all needs – from a washing machine to baby gear. Recently renovated with the latest in sustainable practices, it offers an eco-conscious stay, helping reduce your stay footprint by up to 50%. The way up to your space goes along the quintessentially Dutch stairs, charmingly steep (check out the picture!). Was in a great area, very walkable to the best that Amsterdam has to offer. The four flights of stairs were a little rough but fine for anyone able bodied. Didn’t have to bring a pack and play for our baby which was great! Veronika was very responsive and left us a little treat.
We loved our stay! The location was near the metro so very convenient. As others mentioned, the stairs are steep (54 of them) so be aware ~ a lovely view from the apartment. We were not there much as sightseeing, but it had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

We four senior first time travelers to Europe lucked out finding Veronika and her place. We were in the Theatre District and had a canal view, there were restaurants within walking distance, and we took two different canal rides to sight see. When we couldn’t figure out the shower, Veronika ran right up and demonstrated. When we couldn’t figure out the coffee machine, she brought us coffee! One of us had an injured leg and she carried up her luggage. Yes, the stairs are steep, but we learned that homes were built with narrow water frontage because that’s what taxes were based on. We headed off to our bike boat tour and reminisced about Veronika’s AirBnB when our boat sprung a leak and we started hotel-hopping. We made the best of it but Veronika’s place seemed idyllic!
