Arrive at the property with off road parking, for one car, outside the front door. Located 2.5 miles from the Dreaming Spires of Oxford and 9 miles from the Historic town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. Only a short drive to the AONB of the Cotswolds. The property is a 2bed. The master bedroom has a double bed the second bedroom has a single bed and a travel cot(2 available on request). Main bathroom, comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen which leads to a good sized private garden On entering the property you will enter a small porch where you can hang your coats and remove your shoes, slippers have been provided. The porch leads you into a comfortable living room which has a four seater sofa and a two seater sofa bed, an LG 43" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV, don't worry about the weather stopping your plans, the living room hosts a variety of board games, jigsaw puzzles and books for all ages. There is a doorway through to the kitchen which has a dishwasher, fridge freezer, Double oven and hob, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. Doorway out to the private secure back garden. Upstairs has two good size bedrooms and a family bathroom. The double bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers, dressing table, bedside table and walk in wardrobe. The single bedroom had a single bed, bedside table, wardrobe and chest of drawers, we have two travel cots available on request. All bed linen and towels are supplied. We politely ask that no pets are allowed onto the beds. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, toilet and sink, travel sized toiletries are provided.

House was cosy indeed, it was exactly as described and clean. Vikki had left some groceries for us and also treats for the dog, which was a nice surprise. The dishwasher unfortunately showed error code soon after arrival and also caused a blackout in the house. Vikki was very quick to respond and sort a someone to come over and have a look.
A great sized and cosy house, with a massive garden and a very thoughtful provision of groceries laid on. Easy to get into central Oxford and a good location if you're looking for a base for countryside hiking. Easy to find, check in and check out. Thanks for a great stay Vikki! Vikki was great at communicating, proactively told me that I could check in early even though I didn’t request to. I found the home lovely upon entry, it was lovely and warm which made it feel homely. There was a welcome hamper upon arrival which we found very useful after arriving in the evening. Fresh bread, croissants, milk, cereal and a bottle of wine, making the evening and the following morning a lot easier. The home is old with fixtures and furnishings but I really could not fault the cleanliness of the house. The garden was nice and spacious and would return with my dog in the future. Would recommend to stay here as it really is worth the money for the comfort and space provided.
Fantastic hosts, excellent communication and preparation of the property was second to none. Attention to detail was excellent and the property was spotless, including the rear garden. Ideal for our dog and toddler too. Would not hesitate for a moment to recommend. Many thanks 🤩
Perfect stay for our annual get together (5 x’ ‘40 something’ ladies). Great links to bus into Oxford. Really clean and comfortable. Lovely touches like bread, milk, butter, biscuits and wine! Host was really great at communicating. All in all a very lovely night stay- thank you 🤩

I was born and raised in Oxford and now raising my family here too. We have 4 children, two have grown up and flown the nest and have given us 3 beautiful grandchildren between them, and two stroppy teenagers still at home with us. I run a cleaning company with my Husband Dominic which fills my days nicely.
