Relax and enjoy your time at this unique and tranquil getaway, located in the quaint Village of Dobbs Ferry, 20 miles north of Manhattan - the gateway to the Hudson Valley. Experience your morning coffee by the fire pit, surrounded by trees, listening to the woodpeckers caw and the birds sing. Enjoy the natural light and beauty outside every window in this open plan one of a kind 70's home. Please note this is a private room in a single family home shared with myself and my medium size dog. Unique open floor plan home on quiet block, with hardwood floors and one of a kind floorplan. Spacious bedroom, with sitting area and desk.

Jennifer is a gracious and accommodating host who has arranged it so that guests have privacy yet also have easy access to her kitchen and living room. I slept well and her dog, Alice, was a welcome companion.

Convenient place to stay while visiting Westchester for the weekend

Quaint village along the Hudson River - small shops, and "downtown" area. All housing is unique -there are no tract homes here. Quiet leafy neighborhoods with old trees and hills, no sidewalks. 1 block from nature reserve forest.
Free, easy street parking, for the most part a car is required to get around. There is a Metro North train stop in Dobbs Ferry for points north or to Manhattan. Easy 45 minute commute to city.

You will be close to Manhattan via the Metro North, or close to all the offerings of the Hudson Valley.
