Set in a quiet location, the Devon Deck is a one bedroom luxury coastal apartment and a comfortable sofa bed for extra guests. With stunning views down to the Teignmouth Estuary, it is ideally situated for beach lovers, coastal walkers and Dartmoor explorers. The town centre is a five minute walk away where you can enjoy the beaches, cafes and arts culture. The train station is located between the apartment and town and buses running regularly along the coast from the town centre. The Devon Deck is a beautifully light, airy apartment with sleeping arrangements up to four. External steps lead you up to a porch where you can sit and enjoy an evening glass of wine. As you walk into the apartment, there is spacious hallway to hang coats and leave shoes. The kitchen area is fully equiped with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. There will be a small welcome pack on arrival. Please let us know in advance of any allergies or if alternative milks are required. We will do our best to accommodate these. The bathroom has a rainshower with toilet and washbasin set in a vanity unit. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, blind and curtains. The lounge/diner has a table which easily seats four guests, two large sofas to sink into and a tv. There is full wifi and access to most channels. The apartment is double glazed throughout and has full central heating. There is parking on the shared driveway. It's an easy walk into town where you will find some relaxing walks along the beaches. On the front beach, you can enjoy views from the Pier and fun in the arcades or spend time playing mini golf. A short crossing over the River Teign by one of the oldest working pedestrian ferries takes you to the quaint village of Shaldon with its cafes and small zoo for endangered species. The historic cathedral city of Exeter is just a 20 minute drive/train ride away. There are also regular buses from Teignmouth town centre and the cycle route starts in Dawlish taking you all the way to Exmouth. Torquay is just 20 minutes in the opposite direction and en route you can stop at Labrador Bay and take in the stunning coastal views. There is also fun to be had in Babbacombe at the miniature village and Oddicombe tram and just along from there is the world famous Kents Cavern. Leading away from the coast, it's a 20 minute drive onto Dartmoor where you can emerse yourself in the wild ruggedness walking the moors. Here you have chance to visit Uncle Tom Cobbley's goose fair at Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Totnes must be visited. Its vibrant community is centred around organic produce, cafes and well-being. It holds Friday and Saturday markets hosting a wealth of diverse foods and creativity.
