Hosting two ground-floor bedrooms including a double and a twin, along with a ground-floor bathroom and cloakroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is a first-floor open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with an electric stove-effect fire. Outside there is a private patio area with seating and off-road parking. Wood Cottage is a charming rural retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery in North Yorkshire.

Wood Cottage is a stunning place to stay. The rural area surrounding it is just beautiful and so peaceful. So many walks and views right on your doorstep! The cottage itself was immaculate, the kitchen had everything we needed. The porch area had plenty of room for wellies, coats and walking wear. The heating was easily adjustable for each room and it was lovely, warm and cosy. Plenty of clean soft towels and very comfortable beds with lovely linen. The cottage is decorated beautifully too, the furniture high quality and the Christmas hamper on arrival was very thoughtful aswell as the real Christmas tree! The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and were on hand if we had any questions. There is very little phone signal but I see this as a huge plus point! We highly recommend Wood Cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
