Through the entrance gate to the villa there is a lovely terrace with a large table and chairs for alfresco dining. Here you will find the front door.
The ground floor to the villa consists of a good sized lounge/diner off which is a bedroom with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. Next to this can be found a bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin. The downstairs bedroom has a patio window opening onto a lovely covered outside space with built-in Andalusian style seating and a BBQ area to enjoy eating alfresco.
Also on the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge and microwave. Outside the kitchen is a utility area with a washing machine and drying space leading into a covered part housing a large fridge/freezer, boiler and cupboard space.
The first floor is accessed by a fabulous Andalusian turned staircase leading to the second bedroom which has twin single beds and mirrored wardrobe. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom consisting of a bath with a shower over and glass screen, wash basin and toilet.
At the top of the stairs there is access to a large covered balcony with comfortable outside furniture to enjoy the splendid views over the Cabrera countryside, and another four seater dining area.
The property has its own private parking area with pretty gardens next to the villa, which also has a stone table and benches.
The villa has air-conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge, and WiFi and TV are provided.
A few steps away from the villa is a large swimming pool area which is for the exclusive use of the Alcazaba complex. Here you will find sunbeds and parasols to while away the hours.
The small village of Cabrera currently has two places to dine. One is Fatima’s Riad Cabrera with it’s amazing selection of Moroccan food, all set in beautiful gardens or inside with air-conditioning if you prefer. This restaurant is an amazing experience and booking is recommended. At the centre of the village is Bar el Arco with its fine tapas selection and extensive menu, all prepared by Delia.
If you like your sport there is a petanque club every Saturday and Wednesday morning starting at 11am and tennis court that can be booked for a small fee.
Further afield in the valley of Cortijo Grande, just below Cabrera, you will find the lovely bar/restaurant of Almazara. Also the small but delightful restaurant of Los Pinos.
A fifteen minute drive will take you to the town of Turre where you will find many bars and restaurants with cuisine from many countries. Turre has supermarkets, banks, etc, and a local market every Friday morning.
Further on from Turre there is the bustling town of Mojacar with beautiful beaches, cafes, restaurants, etc.
