Relax in rural seclusion with stunning views of the Acheron Valley and Cathedral Ranges. Set on a 170-acre tea plantation between the picturesque Goulburn & Breakaway Rivers, the newly renovated home and established garden is perfect for families, romantic escapes, group getaways and business retreats. Proximity to world-class golf courses, walking, advanced hiking, pristine fishing, wineries, restaurants, lakes, and the snowfields make this a perfect location for relaxation and adventure. INDOORS Spacious and sophisticated, the modern country interiors meticulously curated by the directors of Heatherly Design offer stunning furnishings and artwork, creating elegant and welcoming spaces. The large main living space is open-plan and includes a modern kitchen, formal dining for 10 people, wood burning fireplace, smart TV, BOSE sound system and deep cosy sofas and armchairs for reading from the library. A large billiard room at the opposite end of the lodge has floor to ceiling windows with garden views on three sides, an oversized sofa and second tv, and a fold down queen size bed discreetly stored behind a feature wall. Individually styled bedrooms feature bespoke upholstered bedheads and furniture, high quality linen and overhead fans. Comfortable and private, they have views of the gardens and surrounding countryside. The fold down queen bed in the billiard room includes a fully sprung queen mattress with quality linens. The bathrooms are large and modern, and one has a clawfoot bath - another perfect place to relax. OUTDOORS Dining under the pergola is just one of many ways to enjoy the peace and beauty of this location, with multiple garden spaces to relax surrounded by mature specimen and fruit trees and lush green lawns. Guests have access to a maintained vegetable and herb garden whilst an historic barn, wetlands, the Goulburn River and the iconic Breakaway Bridge are all within walking distance. The tea plantation can be toured by appointment.

Sensational stay at a working farm beautiful scenery and exceptionally private. House is enormous, warm & spacious spaces with lush articulated furniture and interesting pieces of contemporary modern art and artefacts. Walks down to a tea farm in production watched working dogs corralling sheep granddaughter adored the cattle & other animals. . Marian Rennie Art Studio with Open Air Sculptures & divine food at the end of the road such a treat and then met Jerry the son of Frank Dale Architect where my late father was a partner in the modernist architectural practice in the 1950’s . Highly recommended farm retreat to stay at & not having to do a thing other than enjoy family time & the lifestyle in comfort. J Dale Fisher & family

Two Rivers is a spacious country home with beautiful decor and a stunning location, surrounded by hills and fields. The front and rear gardens are immaculate, and it is clear that the owners take great pride in them. Our group of six friends loved the gorgeous linens, throws, comfy beds and sofas, and it was great to have three toilets between the six of us. There are windows along both sides of the house framing an ever changing view of wildlife, misty mornings and spectacular sunsets. Alexandra is only a ten minute drive away for provisions, and coffee and treats from Grant Street Grocer. Stop in at the Alpaca Yarn Lady to meet two of the friendliest dogs in town!
From the moment we arrived we were taken aback by this gorgeous property, particularly loved the amazing views of the rolling hills and countryside. Great detail was put into the place and every little decorative detail made it feel extremely homely and peaceful. Georgie and her husband were absoloutely lovely and I was so thankful for all the help and hospitality they provided. Would say this was one of my favourite places to stay with a seamless check in and out process and had everything you could need and Georgie was very accommodating and a phone call away if any help was needed. I would stay here again and couldn't recommend this place more!
Gorgeous home away from home big enough for the family. If you’re a fishing enthusiast there are so many gorgeous river spots on the Goulburn near the property. And if you’re not into fishing, the surrounds, the walks and rides around are fabulous. Very close to Alexandra, a friendly little town with lovely local produce.

Encircled by Goulburn and Breakaway Rivers and walking distance to the historic Breakaway bridge. We are very mindful of neighbouring paddocks with cattle and ensuring no issue with dogs roaming. Please be most considerate of our neighbours and livestock and ensure all four legged friends are kept close at all times.
The breakaway bridge is closed for repairs but access to the lodge is available via Alexandra.
