☀ ENTIRE FLAT at your disposition ☀ Amazing location right in the center, next to the opera, 200m from the place des Terreaux… perfect to explore the city by walk. The metro, buses and bicycles are right in front of the building as well. It's a cozy flat with some vintage touch, very charming with it's authentic character of the Haussmann style, typical of Lyon architecture, high ceilings and Hungarian parquet flooring. It's well equipped as well. Would be a pleasure to host you ! ➡️ The flat will not be shared: I will be away while you’re staying so you’ll have the whole place only for yourself. ➡️ This 42m2 accommodation is composed of a spacious living room and an alcôve bedroom which has a double bed 120cmx190cm. The kitchen has everything to enjoy cooking: oven, hob, microwave, blender, coffee maker, utensils, dishes, moulds... etc. You also have a fridge and a washing machine at your disposal. ➡️ I make the choice to rent the entire place at a low price similar to the prices for just a room in this area because the apartment is really charming, but it has also seen years passing which implies that it's not as perfect as a new house. Some refresh work is mainly needed for the bathroom walls, however it's totally functional regarding its facilities so it won't affect your stay in any way. I just prefer to share that information so there is no surprise about the esthetics of that specific room.

J'ai passé deux nuits dans cet appartement et l'expérience a été excellente. L'appartement est spacieux, propre et très bien équipé. La localisation est parfaite, juste en face de l'hôtel de ville de Lyon, dans un quartier très animé avec de nombreux bars et restaurants à proximité. Beckie, la propriétaire, a été très réactive et m'a donné d'excellents conseils pour découvrir la ville. Je recommande vivement cet Airbnb pour un séjour à Lyon !
Hôte hyper agréable, réactive, très gentille. Localisation du logement génial, quartier animé avec une bonne ambiance, au cœur de toute les activités. Tout se fait à pied ! Et transport au pied de l’immeuble ( bus et métro A) Appartement joli , style ancien qui fait tout son charme , literie très confortable, tout était très propre, rien à redire. Je recommande

i stayed for two days at beckie’s place and it was extremely a perfect experience. her communication was clean, the house was exactly the same as in the description (like a vintage store), and it was at the heart of the city - max 10-15 minutes by walking everywhere (even to vieux lyon)!

The apartment is located literally at the foot of the Hôtel de Ville and the Opera, 200m from the Place des Terreaux, you can't find more central location. In one minute: you are facing the Rhône. In five: you are strolling along the quays of the Saône facing the hill of Fourvière calling you to visit its majestic cathedral.
Of course, we can't talk about the 1st arrondissement without mentioning Les Pentes de La Croix-Rousse and its famous little paths, heritage of the canuts called "Traboules". Territory classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, the Pentes are absolutely beautiful and rich in history. It's a little Lisbon, it goes up and down, it's full of colors and trees, stones and charm, and then...
Street art, trendy, creative and unifying places happens ! You can find so many associations, thrift stores, small designers, bars for all tastes, jazz jams to techno caves, culinary concepts with flavors from the world... It's hard to get bored and not falling in love with the diversity this neighborhood offers.
Whether you're in your twenties, forties or sixties... there's something for everyone. More into culture ? Treat yourself to a show at the SUBS or a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts. Rather into nature ? A walk along the river in the company of swans would relax you. Sociable ? Meet and play in one of the many board game bars. And if you're more animated by history? You can walk the streets admiring the monuments and the gargoyles without forgetting to stop in front of the famous Fresque des Lyonnais.
In short... put on your shoes and let yourself be carried away by the City of Lights !
I always recommend to visit Lyon by walk, the distances are not big and it's a very pleasant way to explore. However, this is not always possible and if you want to save time:
- Cycling is a great option. You have a Vélo'v station (free for the first 30 minutes) just in front of the building and many other stations all over Lyon (you can download the app).
- The metro in Lyon is very easy to use thanks to four simple and efficient lines. The Hôtel de Ville station is located at the foot of the building. Same for the buses, you have several lines that stops at the foot of the building.
- You also have electric scooters available throughout the city via an app.
