Maxime's is a great spot for having access to central Delft. It is perfect for a single or couple traveling lightly. It was clean, well-appointed, and nicely designed. You'll enjoy being in the middle of things, just a short walk from the Oulde Delft and other Delft landmarks, and less than 20 minutes from the train station. It felt safe to walk around at all times of the day. However, it could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues (steep stairs), tall- or plus-sized (very small bathroom), or with clothes that need hanging (only two hooks and hangers). And, the corner is busy because of the great bars nearby, so potentially loud until late.
