We had a great experience at Mala Ki Dhani. Om is a fantastic host. He told us a lot about living in a desert, supplied the food, organized a camel safari for us and even gave us gifts. Our kids played with his kids, and they had a great time. The family organized all the food and water during our stay for a reasonable price. We slept outdoors and watched the stars. The amenities are basic with a squat toilet. It was an amazing authentic experience for our family, and it was a privilege to stay at Mala Ki Dhani. The family wants to build a house and has some medical issues which means that they are looking for foreign support. It was a great authentic experience in a desert with a friendly family and amazing host.

I recently had the most incredible experience at this property. It truly felt like stepping into a whole other world, where the serenity and beauty were beyond imagination. The night sky was an absolute marvel, with countless stars shining brilliantly, an experience I'll never forget. But what truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding hospitality of the host, Om, and his family. Om's warmth and humility made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. He went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met, even picking me up from the railway station late at night. His wife's cooking was soulful and delicious, adding to the overall charm of the experience. One evening, Om's son, Deepak, took me to a nearby hill to witness a breathtaking sunset. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I highly recommend this place. It's the perfect destination to unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy quality time in tranquility.

We stay for 2 nights at Om’s place and we loved it! He has a beautiful family and they received us with lot of love and delicious food! Om picked us up from the railway station and drop us there too. We met his family and village and we spent 2 beautiful and unforgettable days there. We slept outdoors and we enjoyed watching the moon and the stars. We recommend it 100%! Mala ki Dhani è un'oasi di pace, lontano dal caos della città, dove si può vivere come la gente locale. Om e la sua famiglia sono delle persone meravigliose ed hanno reso il nostro soggiorno veramente speciale. Sempre disponibili per qualsiasi cosa, dal cucinare per noi al chiaccherare sotto le stelle. La moglie di Om cucina i migliori chapati che abbia mai mangiato. Abbiamo dormito sotto le stelle ed è stato davvero bello. Se visitate Jaisalmer consiglio vivamente di soggiornare almeno una notte in questo bellissimo posto!

I had a wonderful experience with Om and his family. I really felt that for those few days I actually was part of his family. It is a peaceful relaxing place to stay, yet Om can easily give you a lift into Jaisalmer, where the magnificent fort is a must see. The home cooked food is to die for, everything cooked over a single wood burning fire, smokey😋. Goat liver curry was exceptional. Sleep under the stars and don’t miss out on a desert shower 🚿🥶. If you want something away from the noise and bustle of the city this is the place. Take a few days to relax with your exceptional and friendly host. Thanks for everything.
