Enjoy our little slice of hobby farm heaven nestled among the old-growth forest along Chehalem Creek. You'll experience the beauty of nature, the antics of our goats, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks, and quail, and the charm of downtown Newberg. Our secluded neighborhood offers the perfect area for walking, running, or bike riding, and the wineries of Dundee are so close! Be warned that we live on the edge of the forest. Owls, deer, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and foxes frequent our yard. Please note that people and animals live here. You will hear geese, roosters, goats, dogs, ducks, children, owls, and possibly other wildlife. It is a lovely place, but it is not quiet. It is called Lively Farm because it is exactly that. If you need absolute quiet, this is not the space for you. Please do not book a stay and then complain about hearing people and animals.

The Cellar@Lively Farm was a peaceful retreat. Sitting on the porch surrounding ourselves with nature was very relaxing. The muffins in the fridge were a nice welcome gift. We would absolutely stay on this property again.

A beautiful setting! Robin is an amazing hostess. She communicated and took care of all our inquiries. The home and surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. We had everything we needed and even some extra special treats left by the hostess. Would highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was easy to find. Our kids loved having access to the animals in the backyard. The eggs and homemade muffins were delicious. Each room was beautifully decorated. Lots of clean blankets and pillows. Bed was VERY comfortable. Plush towels. Lots of toys and games for the kids. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Secluded, very private neighborhood with paved roads but no sidewalks. Neighbors frequently walk and ride bikes. Very friendly. Please drive 15 mph or slower.
