This bungalow is set in a quiet area and is full of trees, plants and chirping birds. It is a humble abode in a bustling city. Hence the name “Vanvas”, meaning, a dwelling in a forest. The house is in harmony with nature. My family loves to have new people around and the house is very comfortable, with a room exclusively for the guests. It is at a walking distance to the Iscon temple, Iscon mall and close to many great restaurants. We would love to host people from all over! This Courtyard room for the guests, has a small private courtyard attached to it, which brings in lots of natural light. It has a platform style wooden bed, a wooden seating area and an attached toilet. The bungalow is conceptually designed like a courtyard house and has natural light and ventilation flowing into all the spaces. There is a big garden and courtyards with trees and all the furniture is designed and handcrafted with wood and cane.

Kishan and his family were great hosts, the place is lovely! Comfortable, clean and with a lovely garden and sit outs. Added bonus is the peacocks and birds in the home garden
Vanvas is a beautiful house to stay in and the architecture is something one must experience .. the hosts are also very kind , helpful and accommodating. The house is also located close to restaurants so it’s easy to find something to eat as well.
The house is very pleasant, its architecture is well thought and totally matched our taste. The inside/outside feel and the atrium with plants had a hidden and secluded feel that we’ve enjoyed after the hectic city visits. Think of bringing your own toilet paper though if you are not used to the Indian toilet’s habits. Also, be aware that there is a dog in the house and its barking can get on ones nerves. Other than that our stay at Kishan’s was very pleasant.
The hosts were caring and helpful. The place is very quiet and beautiful. One can find many a nook or corner in the garden or in the various common area spaces to sit down and relax or read…
Had the chance to stay in this incredible house, with the architects who constructed it and still live there. A very generous and caring couple, we shared a dinner together with their son who’s also an architect, and they gave us many nice tips on what to do/see or where to eat . Also breakfast was served every morning with love, couldn’t recommend this place more !! Thank you, we will miss you
