The Edinburgh Botanic Garden , Calton Hill , Edinburgh Castle & Princes Street , Scottish National Galleries, all the theatres , and within walking distance of most Festival and Fringe destinations. It’s an attic double bedroom with a comfy bed , warm and clean , loads of storage space and a desk .

Lois is an amazing host, she’s very sweet and gave me great recommendations in Edinburgh. The breakfast was very Scottish but very good!! You will enjoy your stay with her; a comfy bed, everything is clean and the area is good as well. Not to mention that you will definitely have a great time talking with her. Definitely recommend this if you are looking for a place in Edinburgh
Heel fijne plek! Je moet goed ter been zijn vanwege de trappen, en niet heel lang zijn vanwege het niet heel grote bed, maar wij vonden het er heerlijk. De kamer is heel prettig en het matras is geweldig. Lois maakte een heerlijk ontbijt en is een leuke, vriendelijke en grappige gastvrouw die ons erg welkom liet voelen. Vanaf de B&B loop je zo het centrum in. Zou zo weer teruggaan!
The place is very cosy, clean and peaceful. Lois is very responsive, friendly and helpful in our stay and tour in Edinburgh. She made us a lovely breakfast and gave us free tickets to a comedy show which is a great experience for me and my friend. I would highly recommend this place and probably book it again whenever we visit Edinburgh. Thank you Lois for such a wonderful stay in your lovely place!
Lois is a great host. It was lovely to meet and talk with her. We only stayed one night, but it would have been lovely to spend more time there. The apartment is beautiful and Lois was very flexible with the check out.

It’s quiet on our street but pretty lively round the corner on Broughton Street , with loads of bars , restaurants and cafes
The tram to the airport is a short walk away . Car parking is very expensive & limited at £3.80 an hour 8.30am to 5:30pm weekdays , evening and weekends it’s free , thankfully. There are four electric car chargers opposite the Primary school , so that’s a plus !
