My very first stay at an airbnb! David and Christina's place is amazing. The cottage is nestled in the Alabama hills in a gaited community complete with a post office, chapel, and a private lake. Clean and quiet and comfy. Free wifi and the coffee was outstanding. Their hospitality and the care they take with their guests was unbelievable! I will definitely be back!

Loved this pace. Very Quaint. Nice and relaxing. The couple renting are very kind and thoughtful. Loved they left us snacks so we didn't have to leave for food and could just stay in and rest. We stayed there after a wedding at the chapel there in the village so we could relax the next day. Very peaceful. Great place. Great people.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway at David and Christina's place which is a slice of heaven! It is quiet, very clean and comfortable in a lovely area with real value. They were wonderful hosts and communication was super easy. David is very knowledgeable about the area which was helpful to us in planning a day of sight seeing and hiking. He has thoughtfully put together a trove of information on the local history for guests that we enjoyed reading. Michelle was very thoughtful in making sure that we had everything we needed to feel at home with coffee, snacks and other extra lovely touches which made our stay wonderful. They are super hosts!

We had such a lovely stay at David and Christina's place! The hosts truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We were visiting family in the area and the location worked out great for us. The community is full of beautiful homes and is a just a few miles off the freeway on a remote, but scenic drive. It is a little piece of small town America in the center of Alabama. I highly recommend exploring the private nature trail that is just a short walk and ends in some beautiful falls. I hope to stay here again and with no hesitation I highly recommend the place.

You can expect a very clean and comfy space. I felt comfortable going barefoot - Christina and David take great care of their home. The gated community is simply beautiful. It's charming and feels like you've stepped into a different place and time, like you're in a novel. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch, as storms moved through during our stay. There was a little of everything I could've wanted in the fridge - very thoughtful! Overall, this was a very clean, comfortable, relaxing stay. Highly recommend!
