This recently refurbished house is close to pretty much everything, making it very easy to get around and plan your visit. Just a few minutes walk away from Bishop's Stortford train station (with trains directly into Stansted Airport 10/15 mins, London and Cambridge-both c.30mins) and adjacent to the town centre with all its restaurants, bars and amenities, with Crown Terrace Car Park is immediately opposite (behind Suds Laundrette), making this the perfect place to stay for up to 6 or 7 people. Its furnished to a luxurious level with an extendable dining table, comfortable John Lewis corner sofa and the kitchen has all you need. The beds are all new, high-end quality and super comfy for a perfect night's rest. The Kingsize bed in the master bedroom is an amazing level of luxury - you won't want to get up - or leave the house! Also, because the water is very hard in this area, we have installed a water softener to reduce limescale. It is harmless to drink in regular quantities (ie drinking 2L of softened water will only give you 7% of your daily RDA in salt) but you may notice a very subtle taste difference to non-softened water (but being in a very hard water area, the water will be free of damaging impurities such as high levels of limescale).
