Welcome to our quintessential British period home in the heart of Cambridge. The house has a wonderful mix of period features such as stained glass windows, high ceilings, and original fireplaces, and modern conveniences - super fast wifi, range cooker, dishwasher. Included: Superfast wifi Netflix 65 inch smart TV Hotel grade linen & towels Hairdryers Tea, coffee & sugar Tea towels & dishwasher tablets Each spacious bedroom has been individually designed with artwork, books and chairs. The large kitchen/diner has an extendable dining table to seat everyone from your party for leisurely breakfast or three-course dinners. The range cooker with 7 gas rings and 2 ovens and our kitchen is fully stocked with equipment means if you want to cook there’s no limit to your creations. The lounge has a 65 inch smart TV with Netflix included. You’re welcome to log into your own account for other streaming services such as Amazon and YouTube. In the sitting room there’s a piano for you to enjoy, books and games and a dedicated workstation. We also keep all of the wine glasses in the antique cabinet in the sitting room. Each spacious bedroom has been individually designed with artwork and points of interest with books and chairs for you to enjoy. The downstairs bedroom is conveniently located opposite the toilet and shower room. Upstairs there are a further 4 double bedrooms and luxury bathroom which has a freestanding roll top bath, shower, toilet and sink. We love the classic Victorian style in this relaxing room. The garden is enclosed and secure. It has a gorgeous corner seat that’s perfect for a gossip or reading a book. And there’s an outside dining space perfect for a morning coffee.

We had a lovely stay at Michael and Kim’s beautiful house. We did have an issue when the old lock on my friend’s room fell down and locked her out of her room, but Kim was brilliant and organised for a locksmith to be around and fix it very quickly. The location was great, house is beautiful and all communication was clear and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.
The garden is really beautiful. We made daily walks to the city center. We parked the car at a private address at walking distance suggested by the host which was convenient and cheaper than the official parking options.
One of our most memorable and pleasant stays! Thank you Mike and Kim for being wonderful hosts and also accommodating our early check in request at a very short notice - greatly appreciated! Your place is amazingly comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated! the kitchen is fit with all the equipment if you want to cook at home your most favourite dishes! Best restaurants are walking distance as well and 8 am to 11 pm tesco express less than 1 minute walk for all last minute essentials :) Beds are so comfortable. I have enjoyed playing the piano and our little one has greatly enjoyed the great choice of books - especially the Chronicles of Narnia! a pretty Christmas tree in a living area has immediately created the festive atmosphere of Christmas and New Year and the place felt cosy and like home from the very 1st minute! We will surely stay with you on our next trip to Cambridge - happy 2024!
We had an excellent weekend stay, perfect location for eating and drinking your way around Cambridge! Great, attentive, hosts - would gladly visit again.
Everything about my stay exceeded our expectations. There were five men in our group, and we decided to have our annual meeting in Cambridge. We hadn’t really planned on hosting our meeting at the house but once we checked in, we decided to give it a try. The house was a perfect, comfortable environment for a small meeting There was even a whiteboard in the kitchen! I would definitely stay again.

Our home is located in Central Cambridge, nestled between the desirable Mill Road and Hills Road areas which have vibrant bars, restaurants, cafes and shops for you to enjoy.
Turn right out of the house and you will find a Tesco Express and Co-op convenience store, post office, Jordanian restaurant, Dominoes pizza and a choice of two independent bakery where both places serve amazing handmade croissants, pastries, bread and coffee. There’s also a Costa Coffee and for dinner there is Little Petra, a Jordanian restaurant.
Turn left out of the house and in two minutes you’re on the vibrant Mill Road with many pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops which will entertain you all day.
There are so many amenities nearby it’s tricky to list them all - everything is within walking distance…
Parker’s Piece is 7 minutes
Cambridge’s Market Square is 16 minutes
Parkside Pool & Gym is 7 minutes
The Light Cinema is 16 minutes away
Grade Arcade shopping centre 13 minutes

PARKING - Directly outside the house there is metered parking for up to 2 hours Monday - Saturday from 9am - 5pm. Free parking after 5pm and all day Sunday.
On the adjacent street you can park for up to 4 hours - same hours of operation.
Longer paid parking can be found at Queen's Anne Terrace a short walk away (7 mins).
