Although it is 16 minutes by train from Sapporo Station, it is close to Nopporo Forest Park, where you can enjoy hiking and bird watching. Recommended for those who want to experience traditional Japanese private house life. Use this as your base for sightseeing in Sapporo/Hokkaido, business, telework, etc., or relax on your own or with your family and friends. All home appliances and cooking utensils are provided, so you can stay empty-handed for a long time. ■It's a normal Japanese house with a small garden. ■The house is highly insulated and centrally heated. You can stay comfortably even in the middle of winter. ■The storage area next to the entrance can store activity equipment such as skis, snowboards, and bicycles. It can also be used as a drying room. ■There are no steps in the room and handrails are installed to prevent falls due to trips. An assistance chair is available in the bathroom. The indoor aisle is 85 cm wide and the entrance to each room is 75 cm wide, so JIS standard electric wheelchairs can be used. There is a step at the entrance, but we will install a slope and provide assistance if necessary. Please request. ■The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and tableware that can accommodate one family. Please make a request if you would like tableware for children. ■The Japanese-style room can accommodate three futons. ■There are two single beds in the bedroom. ■For long-term stays and telework, we will provide a printer. Please contact us/request. ■The host lives on the second floor and will assist with sightseeing, activities, and support during your stay as needed.

■There are convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants (Izakaya, curry house, ramen, cafe, etc.) within a 5-minute walk.
■It is a 10-minute walk from the visitor center (nature interaction center) of Nopporo Forest Park. It is used by many people as a base for hiking, as well as exhibiting photographs of birds, trees, flowers, and insects, as well as books. Hokkaido Kaitakumura (an open-air museum where historical buildings from Hokkaido have been relocated and restored, preserving valuable cultural heritage) is also a recommended hiking course, which is about a 40-minute walk along the promenade from here.
■There is a bicycle path nearby, which connects the center of Sapporo, Kitahiroshima (you can also go to Escon Field), and along the Toyohira River that flows through Sapporo to Takino Suzuran Park in Minami Ward, Sapporo. The general roads in the suburbs are also wide, so you can enjoy cycling safely and freely.
■You can easily enjoy mountain climbing at Mt. Maruyama and Mt. Moiwa near Sapporo. If you go a little further, you can fully enjoy the splendid mountains of central Hokkaido.
■For skiing and snowboarding, there are Sapporo Teine, Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort, and Kiroro Snow Resort near Sapporo. For those looking to enjoy powder snow off-piste, Kiroro Snow Resort and the Niseko area are both within a 2-hour drive.
■For a walk or jog, we recommend the nearby prefectural libraries and universities, as well as the Nopporo Natural Park.
■1 minute walk to JR Marijuana (Oasa) Station. 16 minutes by train to JR Sapporo Station. 16 minutes by bus to JR Shin-Sapporo Station.
■From New Chitose Airport, transfer from JR Sapporo Station or JR Shin-Sapporo Station (JR from Sapporo Station, bus from Shin-Sapporo Station) to Marijuana Station for 60 to 75 minutes.
■By car: 30 minutes (¥1,750) from New Chitose Airport IC to Ebetsu Nishi Interchange (IC), and approximately 5 minutes from Ebetsu Nishi IC to the villa.
■1 free parking space in front of the villa. There is a coin parking nearby (charges apply: maximum charge: ¥550 for 24 hours).
