Located walking distance to the Beehive Basin Trailhead, just 8 minutes to Big Sky Ski Resort, this secluded single-family home sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms (5 beds) with 2 full baths. This cozy home has plenty of space for all guests to enjoy their time together. With amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, outdoor sauna, hot tub and large patio, you will not want to leave! Beehive Basin Trail is known for its beautiful summer hikes and epic backcountry skiing. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you should need while enjoying your time in Big Sky. The kitchen has all the amenities you are looking for (i.e. dinnerware, coffee, spices, oil, dishwasher soap, trash bags, paper towels...), and the bathrooms are even stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips and cotton balls. The cabin also has a laundry area with washer, dryer, ironing board, iron, drying rack, detergent and dryer sheets. The TVs provided can be accessed only by your favorite streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime…). Guests will have access to the entire home and private outdoor patio area with hot tub, sauna and grill. Guests will be able to park in the garage and the large driveway. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles. Even space for a trailer. **Winter Season** (Oct 1 through May 1) This home is located high up in the mountains (8100 ft). When renting a vehicle you MUST reserve a 4-wheel drive vehicle with good winter tires as the road leading to the home is steep, curvy, and snow packed. 2WD vehicles will get stuck.

We had a great stay. The home was peaceful, relaxing, and private with the most beautiful view of Lone Mountain! The drive to it is steep! It did snow while we were there so we were worried about the road but a plow came through and the road was fine with 4wd. It was well appointed and communicated with all the amenities and even has condiments that you don't have to pick up at the store. The hot tub and sauna were great as well. The only negative was the bed we slept on was very stiff. If you like a stiff bed you'll love it but my husband and I don't, so we didn't sleep the best during our stay. The other people that were staying with us didn't mind the beds.
From the moment we arrived, our group was blown away by the beauty and comfort of this house. Nestled in the privacy of the woods near Beehive Basin, this Airbnb exceeded all expectations. The views = stunning. It truly does have amazing views of Lone Mountain. Whether we were sipping coffee in the living room or stargazing in the hot tub at night, the scenery didn't fail us. The spacious living area fit our group of 8 comfortably and the fully-equipped kitchen was clutch since we cooked in every night. They really did have everything we might've needed and more. The hot tub + sauna combo was truly the cherry on top! They recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to make it on the second half of the steep road, and I would second that, especially in slushy or super snowy conditions. I will say, though, that kind folks kept the road pretty well plowed during a recent storm, and Jeff came over and plowed/shoveled the driveway/sidewalk on the really snow day, which was AMAZING!
Most beautiful place that I have stayed. Wonderful private location with beautiful views. Felt right at home in this setting. After a day in skiing, the hot tub was welcoming. Hope to stay there again next year!

This home is located in the Beehive Basin neighborhood of Big Sky. Beehive basin is one of the most secluded neighborhoods with homes spread out on large plots of beautiful mountain land. It might feel remote but it is a very short 5-10 minute drive to the base of Big Sky resort. Walk to the Beehive Basin Trailhead which is one of the most beautiful hikes in the area.
A vehicle is required in the Beehive Area. No public transportation available.

We are a husband and wife professional property management team who calls Big Sky home year around. We enjoy outdoor activities; skiing, hiking, river rafting and mountain biking! Our dog Ted loves the hiking trails and open landscape that we call home. In the shoulder seasons we enjoy traveling abroad, whether it's Mexico, Central America, or Europe. We like experiencing other countries, cultures, as well as unique Airbnb homes.
