Bottom line: Beautiful location, some inaccuracies in the listing, would not recommend during COVID. Location: Spectacular location right on the lake. Wonderful kayaking and canoeing on the property, with large space for fires and sitting outside. Accuracy: The property is listed as an "entire home." However, there were multiple tenants on the property, including in the basement of the main house and a second home connected to the main house. Not shown in the overhead photo of the property is a trailer on the property that also has tenants. We would not have rented this listing if we had known that multiple people would be on the property. Additionally, the furniture in the photos of the main room were not present. The couches and large chairs were not present. The pool was closed for the season, which was also not clear from the Airbnb listing. Check-in: We had requested a contact-less check-in, which the owner agreed to during advance communication. The owner was present upon arrival and not wearing a face mask. This was our first time using Airbnb during COVID, and we were surprised that the host's behavior was not consistent with Airbnb's COVID policies. The host also encouraged us to not wear masks while indoors with her, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Cleanliness: There was plenty of hand soap and Lysol throughout the house. There was a handwritten note on the front door to “wash hands.” This is a home that the tenant must live in full-time— it was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The bathrooms in particular looked recently used. The kitchen floor was very sticky. Socks were necessary, as our feet got very dirty when walking around the house. This was our first time using Airbnb during COVID and we had expected a higher level of cleanliness. Communication: There was concern about our assistance animals that was not communicated to us during our stay.

Beautiful location and convenient! We had such a wonderful time and Annie was a lovely host. We swam in the pool, kayaked, and ate meals on the beautiful deck. We hope to be back sometime soon!

Annie was a wonderful host. The views from the back deck are amazing! Very convenient to renting a boat. The place was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Annie and Annie's place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The sunset is unbelievable and by far the nicest sunset we have seen. Canoeing and kayaking in the lake was amazing. The house was much bigger and nicer than we expected. The deck, kitchen, living room and family room areas were all better than what we imagined from the photos. The pool area was also wonderful. We are looking forward to coming back.
