Fabulously unique one bedroom mezzanine apartment within an old mill in the peaceful Shandon area to the West of Edinburgh City Centre. Just 20 minute walk from Haymarket train station and with good bus connections to the centre of town, this is the perfect location to experience Edinburgh whilst enjoying a tranquil residential area. The flat is within a 10 minute walk from the leafy and gorgeous Harrison park and the Union Canal. Local amenities within walking distance of the flat.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Lawrie. Très bonne communication et bonnes explications pour l’accès.
Lawrie's place was awesome, felt like home the moment I arrived, it gaves the privacy I needed. Lawrie was really helpful and gave clear instruction for check in. She was also responsive when I had question. Overall I was happy to stay there.
Great little stay for Edinburgh, it may be a bit of a walk into town but the bus is just outside. Location is peaceful and space is good
Definitely recommend Lawrie's place to anyone wanting to stay in Edinburgh but not spend the ridiculous prices of the city centre. Very unique apartment with all you could need in a great location with easy public transport links to the city centre - took us no more than 15 mins! Very cosy place, warm. No complaints :)

Shandon is a residential area with a nice park and the leafy canal within walking distance. There are several shops and cafes also close by. The city centre is abour 30 minute walk, or 15 minutes on the bus.
The 44, 4, 34 busses are the best direct link to the city centre. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the front door. Each bus comes every 15 minutes. There is also a cycle route along the canal.
