We just loved our stay at Kenichi-san’s place. Everything was thought of, and all amenities were fabulous for travellers. Lots of handy English translations and instructions throughout, which made it really easy to find everything. Kitchen complete with lots of cooking equipment and crockery/cutlery etc. Also plenty of hooks and hangers throughout, for towels or clothing. And, best of all, Kenichi was a friendly, warm host, who even offered for us to take some umbrellas with us when we checked out on a rainy day. Kenichi thought of everything :)

Kenichi's place is a hidden gem tucked away in the outskirts of Shinjuku. The local area has plenty of life and vibrancy, and is immediately accessible to other major areas. The Airbnb was clean, well-organized, and of excellent value. It was perfect for my group of 7. Kenichi was communicative, friendly, and an overall excellent host. Thank you for an excellent start to our very first trip to Japan!

The place was clean and quiet, very close to a station and located around good restaurants and convenience stores. However, it is on the 3rd floor so taking up large luggage may be difficult.

Thanks for hosting us, Kenichi-san. The stay was great, the appartment is in a prime location with a easy walk from the Iidabashi metro station. The station is also a great place to launch your daily adventures to key locations in Tokyo including Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara etc. The place was spacious, clean and had key amenities such as a washer and dryer combo. Most of the appliances in the appartment had clear English instructions, which goes a long way for reducing any confusion around how to use them. The place is a modern Japanese appartment with futons and tatami mats to sleep on. The host, Kenichi-san, was friendly and greeted us when we arrived and was very responsive too. Please be mindful that the place does not have an elevator, so you do need to carry your luggage case up the stairs. A struggle after all the shopping you do in Tokyo haha. Would stay again with my family.
