The neighborhood was ok. With a mix of well and not so well kept houses. Darren’s house was very nice, spacious, clean and with very comfortable beds. There is room for Improvment and I sent a private message to Darren with a few suggestions on how to do so. I would rent his house again.
Not worth it.
A few things were missed in preparation for our stay, but our stay was pleasant. Darren was cordial and responsive to any issues that arose. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.
This AirBnb served its purpose in that it was one of the only houses in this general area that accommodated the number of guests in our group & was also pet-friendly. However, it was probably the most subpar experience with AirBnb that I’ve had. The home itself did not feel clean due to noticeable cobwebs, small bugs, & stains on the walls. When the ceiling fans were turned on, dust also fell from them. The blinds in at least one room were also broken so we had to makeshift a way to cover the window before going to bed. I also indicated that there were 7 guests staying & there were only 6 bath towels provided & no extras. When I read that the house would supply ‘basic’ amenities, I assumed this would include at least one towel per person. Unfortunately, I assumed wrong & when I reached out to Darren about this, my message went unaddressed. Like I said, the home served its purposes given what our group was looking for but I wouldn’t stay here again.
