Situated in the picturesque village of Heysham in Lancashire - Step back in time and relax . !! 100m from the beach & Morecambe Bay . ‘Gateway to Lake District.’ The cottage has recently been fully renovated to provide the perfect relaxing stay and is dog friendly . With real log burner four poster bed and next door to the Royal Hotel Pub with lots of cafes & amenities on the door step. A great stop over if you’re travelling to the isle of Mann on the ferry at Heysham . ( 15 minute walk ) . The cottage dates back to 1600’s and is very cosy inside . With four poster bed real multi fuel log burner and everything you need for a cosy stay .

Enjoyed our stay in Nigel's cute cottage. Location is great near the sea front, cafes and St. Patrick's chapel.
Fabulous stay at Nettle Cottage. Parking right outside cottage. Host Nigel very responsive and helpful. Pub next door serving great food. Cafe round corner was lovely too. Fantastic dog walks right from the door to St Patricks and great beach for dog walking at Half moon bay with a Cafe or on the Promenade heading towards Morecambe. All accessible from the cottage. Had a great holiday, thank you, and we hope to return.

Lovely trip to Heysham, thoroughly enjoyed exploring the barrows, great food at The Royal, beautiful village, great community gardening and lots of friendly dog walkers.
Lovely cottage, very cosy and well equipped. Loved the easter eggs, nice touch. Really enjoyed exploring the village, great walks on the doorstep with amazing Seaviews.

Heysham Village has just won best small village in Lancashire in Britain in bloom . It really is still a fabulous old world village with lots to do and see. A must see is heysham barrows and St Peter’s church and St Patrick’s chapel that stands over a ‘stunning ‘ view over Morecambe Bay ( 5 minute walk ) .
Parking at the property . Bus stop 50 metres from cottage .
