Our cozy 1850 sq. ft. family cabin is large enough for the whole family for a vacation or an outdoors adventurists' get together. Our 4-season chalet has 3 Bdrms, Loft, and a Den with 10 beds and 2 full Baths. Only 11 minutes East of Manning Park Resort, the property is approx. 1/2 acre of S.W. exposure and fronts 240 feet of the crystal clear Similkameen River with private, sandy beach access. Enjoy your StayByTheRiver and experience the river, forest, and mountains in a private setting.

Connie’s place was perfect for our family of 8 (all adults)! We were visiting from Australia to spend time with my family and had a great time in this cottage. It was spacious and had many rooms and living spaces where we could play games, watch movies, or relax. The dining area was also great with benches to fit us all. Connie also recommended some great food places in Princeton as well (thank you!). Overall, it was a special weekend and we had a lot of fun bonding with each other at this beautiful location.
This getaway spot was wonderful. Snow in BC this winter has been scarce but we went anyways and had a relaxing time of connection with our family. The chalet is cozy, comfortable, spacious and super well stocked. The setting and scenery around the chalet were beautiful. Connie was an excellent host- accommodating and responsive to all questions I had.

We absolutely loved our stay. The chalet is spacious and equipped with absolutely everything you would need for a holiday. We were so impressed and our family of 10 had a fabulous time. We would stay again.
My family and I really enjoyed our winter getaway to this beautiful place! We had everything we needed, the cabin is very well equipped (even had snacks and drinks)…we were impressed. The surroundings are peaceful and the place feels private and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable, among the best we’ve had in an Airbnb. Connie was very helpful and responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back (summers here must be beautiful too).

The quiet, Eastgate community is located about 11 minutes from Manning Park Resort. Made up of mostly recreational vacation homes, there is a gas station with a small convenience store as well as a campground nearby. The roads in the neighborhood are paved and level, a beautiful place for a casual bike ride, with 2 public access points to the river. The nearby Forestry Service Roads offer endless options for hiking and spectacular views.
We are located a short distance away from Highway 3 in a small recreational vacation home area. In the winter, the small level road leading to our property is usually plowed and maintained. We have plenty of room to park up to 6 vehicles on the property.

We're Connie and Rob! We love building memories with our kids, grandkids and extended family and our cabin has been the perfect space to spend time with those we love. We have found the location on the river, next to the mountains is relaxing and life-giving. It is our hope that our guests will experience our vacation home as a place to rest and unwind, where relationships are nurtured, and peace and hope are restored.
