Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. 15 easy miles from Bloomington Normal, this one bedroom apartment on a horse farm gives you the opportunity to experience country life. Less then 3 miles to downtown Lexington where you can experience unique shops, a local brewery, and several restaurants. A short 5 miles the other direction will take you to Lake Bloomington. Ample parking if you are bringing a boat. Riding lessons can be added to your stay. Wi-Fi included. The apartment shares a wall with our home. There is a private entrance that allows for guest to come and go as they please. The kitchen includes a 3 n 1 microwave with an air fryer and convection oven, refrigerator with freezer, plates, cups, and silverware. Keurig with pods and toaster on counter. Bedroom has a queen sized bed. Living area includes a full sized futon ( bedding for futon in cabinets). Outside you will greeted by horses, chickens, and our barn cat Turtle. There is a fire pit for good weather, and a gas grill available.

I stayed here when I traveled for work for a Project at Rivian…peaceful quiet and safe place to stay…I know there are quite a few options to stay in the Bloomington town close to Rivian but this place is just 23 minutes away from Rivian and offers serenity that Bloomington town doesn’t offer..anywhere from town to Rivian is at least 15 minutes drive anyway because of too many lights and roads around ISU with speed limit 30.. Shannon is a good host..
Great value -- quiet, peaceful, and cozy. I only wish the weather was better so I could have enjoyed outdoors more, would definitely stay again!

Absolutely worth it. I typically stay in BNB's in large cities. Shannon and Rick have a place where you can truly relax and recharge. There is just enough to shop and eat in Lexington. The dogs they have are wonderful and friendly. The chickens follow you around the yard if you're out and about. The horses are friendly but if you're unfamiliar please watch from a distance unless Shannon is around. I wish more places were as inviting as this one.
