We had a delightful stay at John’s cottage. It is beautiful! Immaculately clean, big windows that open to ocean and mountain views, truly the perfect space for us! My boys (2 and 3 years old) loved exploring the extensive trails, the beach and picking raspberries on the property. John is so kind and hospitable - he treated us like family and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Hope to return someday!

This house is drop dead gorgeous in a stunning location!! We were so . sad to leave and hope to go back again. John and Yvette were such gracious hosts and we got along great with them. They left us bread, homemade jam and fresh raspberries. The house was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. It was an absolute perfect place to stay. ..nothing needed to improve.

A la Cote is simply perfect! It sits on a beautifully tended lot next to the host's home. Windows on two sides look out to the ocean and the cliffs of Cape Breton. It is immaculate and has all the amenities. The host, John, is gracious and welcoming. One evening, he and his partner had me to their home for a beverage and a good conversation! I could have stayed forever!

Vue incroyable, logement propre,bien équipé et au calme. Environnement agréable, jardin autour de la maison et la plage facile d'accès. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants (6 et 8 ans), l'appartement convient très bien. John est très aimable et prevenant, vous ne manquerez de rien, et son français est parfait !

What a great place and even better host. John was so gracious welcoming our family to his beautiful and well equipped apartment on the Cabot Trail. Our family of four loved our stay in Cape Breton and highly recommend this fantastic property!
