Welcome onboard our beautiful sailboat Ronja! She will rock you to sleep between fjords and mountains, under stars and northern lights. We use her as often as we can, but in between the adventures at sea we want other to experience this unique way of living. Here you will be warm and cozy, close to nature and wildlife. The boat has a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, two double beds, a single bed and a bed couch. Here you will be close to the most beautiful areas around Tromsø. Mountains around are great for hiking and skiing. Many popular climbing sites close by, together with sandy beaches and great wildlife.

We were spending 4 nights in the boat and had a lovely time! It is very cozy inside. In the frostiest of nights, it is a bit colder, however, the bed heaters and the excellent blankets make it easily manageable. Karl and Sarah are great hosts and very helpful. The area is a small town located 20 minutes by bus outside of Tromsø, which for us was perfect, as we were able able to experience a bit more authenticity than in the city center (also amazing views on the way there from the airport). Nonetheless, we can definitely recommend renting a car since Kaldfjord a great starting point for a nice road trip to Sommerøe or Grønfjord. All in all, me and my girlfriend can‘t wait to come back!
Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte auf Ronja. Es gibt alles an Board was man so braucht und es ist sehr gemütlich! Die beheizbaren Matratzen sorgten bei winterlichen Temperaturen für einen fantastischen Schlaf :)
Karl’s sailboat made for a wonderful stay in Tromsø. He is very communicative. The boat is warm and cozy and has all the amenities you need besides a shower. Definitely recommend staying here!
On a passé un séjour incroyable. Ce fut une expérience unique. Karl était un super hôte, il nous a appelé pour nous dire qu’il y avait des aurores boréales dehors. ( les matelas chauffants était un très gros plus ;) ) Je recommande fortement.

Grocery store and café only 15 minutes by foot.
By car: 30 minutes drive from City Center, 20 minutes from the airport. Free parking in the harbour.
By bus (number 42): Bus station is 10 minutes walking distance from the boat. Buses will take you directly to the airport, shopping mall and City Center.
