So worth the drive! My husband and I live about 2.5hrs away and needed a weekend escape from work chaos. We wanted to be somewhere off the grid but not completely. This was perfect! We enjoyed the absolutely breathtaking views and felt like we made a great choice in our lodging. The drive up the mountain is a lil scary lol. The road is quite narrow and curvy; I wouldn’t recommend that drive when it’s pitch black outside. We drove during the day to avoid that though. Our hosts were kind, responsive, and very helpful. They let us borrow an hdmi cord for our ps5 and were always fast in getting back to us. The gated community is very nice. My husband and I work in real estate and were very impressed by the whole neighborhood and the amenities. We will 100% be back this summer and look forward to the stay again! Truly a hidden gem and worth the drive! Thanks for having us!

Beautiful views , peaceful, quiet place! It’s great for a getaway. The sunsets are right out the windows. You can sit on the porch and have an amazing view every evening for the sunset. The views all day are absolutely beautiful! There are homes being built in the area, so the roads aren’t in the best shape. But I’m hopeful that this will change once construction slows down. Please don’t let that stop you from spending time here. It’s still a very quiet community & you shouldn’t have a problem driving around, if you go slow and pay attention, which you should be doing anyways on these types of roads. I definitely recommend this place! I will keep this place in mind for future trips to Dale Hollow.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The views are indescribable. Off the beaten path and so quiet! I spent hours sitting on the patio enjoying the view, sunshine, and birds. Recommendations were great and not too far from two different towns so there are some options.

The setting is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and private. The space is small but comfortable. Lots of things they thought of to make the stay more enjoyable and relaxing. The bed is super comfortable and the blankets are warm. There are supplies for what you need in the unit and are all easy to find. There is an adapter to use ground coffee instead of k cups so it’s really flexible. One thing to note is that this studio is part of the main house and underneath their living space. It was relatively quiet but if there are house noises that may wake you if you are a light sleeper. The view is outstanding and watching the sunset is a thing of beauty. There’s lake access down the road a bit and it’s breathtaking. You’ll enjoy your stay here!
