This delightful, immaculately presented lodge is the perfect retreat for families or friends who want to discover the stunning landscape of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Situated in the village of Stepaside on a quiet holiday park, this relatively spacious lodge is only a 1-mile woodland walk from the small beach and hamlet of Wiseman’s Bridge. With strong links to the area’s mining past, Stepaside has an historic ironworks and you can follow a number of trails, including the old railway line, on foot or by bike to Wiseman’s Bridge. Venturing further along, you’ll come to the delightful seaside resort of Saundersfoot (4 miles). Light tones and floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright and airy atmosphere throughout this property. As you ascend the steps and enter the lodge, you’ll find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is flooded with light. Whether you’re relaxing in front of the TV, cooking a tasty meal in the well-equipped kitchen or poring over a map at the table, you can make the most of each other’s company. Completing the accommodation are three delightful bedrooms and two bathrooms. On a summer’s day, open up the French doors, spill out on to the wrap-around veranda and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. The Pembrokeshire coast is popular with visitors who love the great outdoors because of its abundance of tranquil, open space. Situated at the eastern end, this property is also close to some of the more bustling towns and villages. The foodie’s haven, Saundersfoot, has local delicacies on offer and a beautiful sandy beach. Bigger and more popular Tenby (6 miles) has a wealth of independent shops and eateries tucked away on its cobbled streets. Keen walkers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, as the area is bursting with options, including the flat Pembrokeshire Coast Path for walkers and cyclists.
