The region is full of divine nature, a variety of landscapes and systems meaning everywhere you look there is magic and beauty. The people in Kyambura and neighboring communities are extremally friendly and living in harmony with this magical nature. When we visit Kyambura we are always taken back and love the easy way of living and we wanted to share this with other people. These retreats are designed to harmonize with the surrounding landscape providing modern comforts. Perched on the gentle slopes of the escapements, each cottage offers panoramic views. The expansive windows and private pathways open up to breathtaking vistas, allowing guests to soak in the ever-changing colors of the rolling hills, the shimmering waters of the nearby lakes, and the distant majesty of the Rwenzori Mountains. These cottages encourage a sense of togetherness, with communal spaces that invite guests to mingle, share stories, and forge connections. Whether gathering around a crackling fire pit or strolling through meticulously manicured gardens, guests are immersed in an atmosphere that fosters cultural exchange and lifelong friendships.
We had a delightful stay, where every detail was attended to with care. The cottages were cosy and tastefully decorated and we felt relaxed and at home in the communal dining and chillout areas. Our homecooked meals were a highlight as we enjoyed the flavorful local cuisine served in generous portions. The cottages are surrounded by the picturesque sights and sounds of Kyambura village, with easy access to Queen Elizabeth National Park, as well as the enchanting nearby crater lakes and Kyambura gorge. We appreciated the local knowledge from the team there, and their willingness to help us plan trips to get to know the local area. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable experience in Western Uganda far from the mass tourism experience.
