The main house invites you with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dining table accommodating up to 4 guests. Unwind in the cozy living room, featuring a comfortable couch with a lounger and an additional chair for ample seating. Rejuvenate in the main bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed, while the adjacent main bathroom offers convenience with a sink, toilet, and shower, as well as a washer and dryer. Step onto your private balcony and immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the waterfall, surrounded by thoughtfully arranged patio furniture. For added privacy and tranquility, the second bedroom boasts a separate entrance just steps below the main house. Here, you'll find another queen-size bed and a well-appointed bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. Take caution when descending the stairs, especially in wet conditions, as the tile may become slippery. Indulge in the natural wonders of the property, including breathtaking mountain vistas, your very own private waterfall, and enchanting trails winding through lush gardens. For a unique experience, try your hand at fishing at the tilapia pond and savor the satisfaction of catching your own meal amidst this idyllic setting.

SE NECESITA 4X4 Las instrucciones lo dicen, pero de alguna forma lo pasamos por alto. El lugar tiene una vista increíble y las condiciones del lugar son excelentes, pero el acceso sin 4x4 no es posible. El lugar y los anfitriones: 10/10
Un oasis de paz y tranquilidad. Verdaderamente se percibe un concierto en Dios mayor al estar en contacto con la naturaleza y los sonidos que del bosque. La casa es muy amplia. Volveremos. Un lugar precioso
This place is magical. We felt like home. The house is new, fully equipped (beyond from what we expected). The views are incredible. The location is secluded so you will have a lot of privacy and be able to enjoy the nature of the place. I must also say the hosts were super friendly, super communicative and flexible. In deed we just enyoded our weekend here. Road and access: in deed a 4*4 and clearance is needed as instructions described. If you book, you will be shared with the location and the instructions to follow as there are 3 ways to get the house. The recommend from host is the best (make sure to start from the restaurant and follow the path). The other two ( Waze and Maps may advice to use those) are complex, might be tricky if wet and require 4*4 experience. Hope you enjoy this place as we did.
We had a great time at this beautiful house. The house has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and 2 spacious bedrooms with private bathroom (one of the bedrooms is downstairs and you can't access it from inside the house). The view from the house is lovely and there is a small waterfall downhill which is accessible in a few minutes walking. The only downside for us was the road to the house. The road is unpaved a can be quite steep and difficult to drive at some points. So, you really need a good 4x4 (and know how to drive it) car to access the property. You might want to consider this when choosing this house. Hosts are great and were very responsive 🙂

The eastern side of Costa Rica is green all year and does not suffer from tourist fatigue. It is a more “authentic” Costa Rica with very few U.S fast food chains and no large hotels. The Caribbean coast has beautiful sandy beaches without the tourist crowds. Turrialba is located halfway between San Jose and the Caribbean coast. It is set in a bucolic valley and is surrounded by large sugar cane and coffee plantations. It’s large enough to have a hospital and numerous doctors and dentists, some of whom speak English.
One of the draws for the Turrialba area is white water rafting on the Pacuare River. The only ancient ruins in Costa Rica is located nearby in Guayabo National Park.
If you would like to be picked up from the airport and delivered to the house, our close friend Francis can do this for $85. He has been praised for his cost effective and safe transportation.
If you decide to rent a vehicle a 4X 4 is needed to get to the property. We are also able to have a car rental ready for you when you arrive at the property. Please message us for details.
Downtown Turrialba is is only a 15 min drive from the property.
