Mari was very kind and quick to respond to my inquiries about the home. The space is very well suited to guests as there are 3 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite washroom. The main floor is well laid out and appointed. Easy for entertaining inside or out. The kitchen was we stocked with dishes and utensils. A quick walk to grocery store, Starbucks or train station. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the place was very messy. All of the bed linens and bath towels were dirty, the floor needed to be cleaned and the garbage was full. The cleaner didn't arrive until 2 hours after our check in time. Unfortunately, with jet lag - we had to stay up drying our own sheets and towels so we could go to bed. The heating didn't work on the second or third floor, nor did the towel warmers. Most mornings, it was 16 degrees C in the house and we struggled to warm up. The shower broke in one of the bathrooms. The place is great but could use some maintenance.
