This is the first time I have wanted to write a review BEFORE I finished my stay. It's clear Ronnie has gone above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable. The home is beautifully renovated and decorated, the bed extremely comfortable and Ronnie has thought of and supplied just about everything that could be needed. Ronnie's communication throughout was thoughtful and caring and I felt like a real guest, rather than just a tenant. Ronnie's home is right next to Newark Beth Israel hospital, so it's perfect for someone wanting a comfortable and private space to stay near there and there is parking for anyone visiting NYC with a car. It is around 1 hour from the city using public buses and trains. It's also in walking distance to beautiful Weequahic Park and a large grocery store about 6 blocks away. Thank you Ronnie for a memorable stay!
The place was very clean and had all the amenities you will need. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you can imagine and bed was very comfortable as well. Ronnie had great communication for any hiccups during the stay and was very responsive. Will try to book it again if it becomes available!
Just need to maintain a few things but overall an okay stay.

Your Airbnb is located in Weequahic (pronounced Wee-QUAY-ic, or WEEK-wake "when spoken rapidly." Weequahic is a neighborhood in the city of Newark in Essex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Part of the South Ward, it is separated from Clinton Hill by Hawthorne Avenue on the north, and bordered by the township of Irvington on the west, Newark Liberty International Airport and Dayton on the east, and Hillside Township and the city of Elizabeth on the south.
Part of the Weequahic neighborhood has been designated a historic district; major streets are Lyons Avenue, Bergen Street, and Chancellor Avenue.[2][3] Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a major long-time institution in the neighborhood.
There are 2 trains to NYC, one is the Amtrak train for $5.50 which is the fastest, and drops you off at New York Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station at West 31st.
The second option is the Path Train which costs $2.75 and drops you off either at World Trade Center-Fulton Street or West 33rd Street (make sure to check for which train you need).
Both these train options are located in and leave from Newark Penn Station which is a 15 to 20min car ride from the Airbnb.
