Anyone affected by the recent floods — we have room in our home if you need a place to stay. This listing is only open to those displaced by the floods or emergency responders. This listing is for the Rustic Room in the new country home in rural Nebraska. If you'd like to see information for the entire house or any of the other rooms, please consult the appropriate listing. Please note that this is not a bed and breakfast. The Rustic Room is on the second floor with a queen bed. It's on the east side of the house with a great view of sunrise. The Rustic Room has two private balconies, one with access to the ground floor by an exterior staircase. You'll receive a key to your room, which also opens the balcony door if you arrive late or need to get into your room after hours. There is a flat screen TV with Dish network in the Rustic Room.

Great room, gracious host.
Michael was great about letting us add an additional room last minute so my son and wife could join us. As usual, Sharon was a great hostess with a filling breakfast. She has a Keurig coffeemaker and a nice selection of k-cups.
Sharon was the best! She went beyond all expectations for us. We left feeling like we had gained a new friend. The house is well maintained, beautifully decorated, and very private. Each room has a very clean, spacious bathroom. Loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return!
Michael's house is new. Mine was a large room with ensuite bathroom, and a private deck space. Super comfortable. His mom, who made us a couple of meals, not part of the package is a great cook - if you like chicken pot pie and hot apple pie (we do). Amazing hospitality!
What a wonderful place to stay! This is a beautiful houses, our host was the sweetest, and waking up to a country sunrise cannot be beat. I would recommend staying here if you're anywhere near the area.

Wymore is a small town about 15 miles north of the Kansas-Nebraska border and about 15 miles south of Beatrice. There are plenty of places to eat and shop in Beatrice and a number of sites, lakes, and other activities in the vicinity. We are only an hour away from Lincoln, the capital of Nebraska.
There is parking available on the property and there is no public transportation in the area.
