Omar was great! Very responsive, gave excellent food recommendations, and was a very responsible host. The location was nice, we used it as a base of operations for our trips to Socorro and the VLA. Exactly as advertised. Old, with some older amenities, such as a natural gas heating system, but it was a very easy thing to manage and was fun to be around. Added to the charm of a house removed from a ghost town. Do yourself a favor and try Es•press•o the coffee shop at the end of the block. Really great service and products. A fabulous recommendation! All around great experience with a great host - we will be back for sure

Cozy little house. Reminded me of my grandfathers house when I was growing up.. It was peaceful and quiet. Warm and comfortable. For me it felt like home

Cool place to stay with an exceptionally helpful and friendly host. The New Mexico high deserts are a wonderful escape. If you’re looking for open space, hiking with few to no other people and peaceful quiet, maybe some stargazing, consider Magdalena. The coffee shop on the corner right by this Casa is really good and the owner very friendly.
