Welcome to our little slice of heaven, located on Eastern Shores. Named for its' "Tucked In" feel, you will think you are floating on water when you wake up each morning in our studio-style cottage that can sleep up to 4, with a queen bed and pullout couch. Park your boat on the private dock or take the ferry to surrounding islands. Or just relax, enjoy the kayak or swim in the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas. The airport, grocery store and restaurants are just 15 minutes away! Tucked In is a studio type house with an open floor, without any walls to block the view to the beautiful water! A queen size bed and pullout couch accommodate up to four guests. You will find one bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer inside the unit. You can enjoy drinks or meals inside the unit or just outside under a covered porch. 2 lounge chairs are provided to enjoy the water from the canal side, where you might see a turtle! And to make sure our guests don't miss the absolutely stunning evening sunsets, we have provided 4 adirondack chairs on the deck facing the Sea of Abaco. If you are feeling a little adventurous, explore the area by water in our 2 kayaks and life jackets. We also provide folding chairs, an umbrella, water shoes and snorkel gear if you decide to visit a neighboring island or beach by car or boat. To make your travels a bit easier, we provide beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and sunscreen. An initial supply of coffee pods, creamer and sugar is provided.

We are a couple who love boating in Abaco, Bahamas. We loved our week at Matt’s place. The cottage has all the amenities we needed with great attention to details. It came stocked will everything we needed to make our stay stress free. The outdoor spaces were ideal to enjoy the incredible view of the sea of Abaco, turtles, dolphins and the starry nights. The place felt brand new, fully stocked appliances and utensils for at-home-chefs (we prefer to make our meals) and we missed nothing. Thank you for that. The dock and accessibility to the water was perfect. Dani, the caretaker is a doll. And Matt recommended a car rental service which worked out perfectly. We felt safe and well taken care of. Fully recommend.
We had a blast staying here, perfect for our small family. Great central location in the Abacos. It’s a new construction “dock house” with a nice dock space on a protected channel (that’s also holding some mutton snapper).
I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at Tucked In at Marsh Harbor. The setting was incredibly beautiful. The place was immaculate, clean, and adorable. The location is close enough to downtown and restaurants yet far enough that you feel you’re the only people on the island. Having water views on both sides of the house was just perfect. Also, the water taxi service is right down the road and is the perfect way to visit Hopetown and other small islands. If you were looking for a place to recharge your battery, relieve stress, and be at one with nature, this is it! We plan to come back next year and repeat our stay. You cannot go wrong if you choose to stay at Tucked In at Marsh Harbour. From check-in to check-out, the process is simple, the host is super responsive, the house is just gorgeous, and the island itself is amazing.
My family of 4 got stranded in paradise when our flight home on Saturday was cancelled due to bad weather. Matt answered my inquiry within minutes, which was amazing for a stressed out mom trying to find a place at the last minute. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot. A true cabin by the sea - everything was so clean and new … had everything we needed for our vacation from our vacation. They brought us fishing rods so my son could fish, helped us with our bags (hubby hurt his back real bad). Everyone was super responsive and so nice. Thank you so much!!
Our family has been coming to the Abacos for years. The location of Tucked In can’t be beat. This is a hidden gem, but is still convenient for elbow, lubbers, and all the abaco islands. The house is brand new, everything is there for your stay. I can’t thank Matt enough for his service. Very simple check in, Matt is always available to help. We will be staying here for years to come.

Tucked In is only a 15 min car or taxi ride from the airport. If you would like to rent a car, please check with us first as we receive a discount from a local rental company based on availability. We recommend renting a car if you feel like you will be traveling to and from Maxwells, the large grocery store where you will find everything you need or the smaller, local mini store when you just need a few items. Also close by is an array of liquor stores and local restaurants and bars where you can go to experience local Bahamian food and culture. Explore Marsh Harbor by car or see the many amazing surrounding islands by boat! Depending on where you are going, there are two different ferry companies, both just a short drive from the cottage. Of course the best way to see the different islands is via your own boat, which you can park at our private dock. If you plan to rent a boat, we recommend you reserve it with as much notice as possible, as they tend to rent quickly.
