Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique lake house right on the water and complete with a large, covered dock. We are located on Taylor Creek less then a 100 yards from a public launch and just over a mile from the lock into Lake Okeechobee. You are welcome to dock your boat or kayak at our dock, which has electric, if needed. This is a separate apartment that attaches to our home. There is plenty of room to park your boat on the trailer or at the dock. If you are looking for place with water view and access to relax and enjoy the outdoors, look no further! You have a full equipped kitchen with all the necessities. There are 3 large screen smart TV’s for down time. You have 2 three door sliding doors that provide views of the dock and Taylor Creek. You are welcome to fish off the dock, or just sit and enjoy the water, birds, fish, ducks, etc!

Excellent place to stay for work or for play Fishing on site also. Quite setting and clean rooms and bedding. Host was very active when we needed anything.
Felt right at home and it was super cute with a lot of extras. I loved how our host had snacks left out for us and a binder full of instructions as well as things to do. Lovely home and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay.

Comfortable. Nice seating area outside to watch the birds on the river. One bedroom is quite small, but we were only there to sleep above and beyond with drink, snacks, and chocolates.
We loved our stay and they were sweet to my child visiting her grandparents who stayed there.

If you’re looking for a quiet, friendly, small town community, you'll feel right at home here. Okeechobee is the Gateway to South Florida with convenient access to both coasts and all of Central Florida. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocers within minutes.
You will find it pretty easy to get around. Traffic varies depending on the time of year, but remember, this is a small town, so it’s not anything like the big cities! You should have no trouble parking at the local businesses and parks.
