Lovely home, beautiful surroundings, cozy and tucked away. Easy relaxed visit. Perfect weekend retreat from DC for us. Bring what you need because it is true, you won’t really want to leave once you are tucked in. The highlight for me, not illustrated so well in the photo is the claw foot bath, with a stunning view of the mountains out of the window. Perfect with a glass of wine and a book. We found a fabulous restaurant about 20 minutes away called “Out of the Fire Cafe” (definitely make reservations). The food and drinks were fantastic. The town of Donegal nearby has a pie shop which we enjoyed too. Would absolutely stay again.

Our third visit to Grandma’s Gift. Terrific location with great views. The house had everything we needed for six people staying. Max was a responsive host.
