We have a caretaker on-site but he is in a cabin several acres down-mountain from the privacy and seclusion of the main house (where you will be staying)** -Booking alone or on behalf of a group? You will be the ONLY group in the retreat house for the duration of your booking! -Distance from Asheville? We are isolated deep in the mountains, about an hour from the center of Asheville. -Are we pet friendly? YES! Bring up to 2 dogs at no extra charge -Because of limitations in Airbnb's API, it listed our jacuzzi tub as a "hot tub". We have a jacuzzi tub in the Master Bathroom that fits 1-2 people max, but no hot tub -Rob, our on-site manager, will give you a short check-in walk-through of the house after arrival -Neighbors are spaced many acres apart and are very friendly. -One should have a car to drive to the property, preferably a 4x4 to drive up the mountain (there is a stone gravel road), although a sedan will do if it has sufficient ground clearance. -Driving a car that has a low ground clearance in the mountains is not recommended. -The internet connection works well but the house is in the mountains, so higher bandwidth activities can sometimes load slowly. -Guests must sign an agreement after booking to maintain reservation status. Great place will be back
Very nice place. Secluded and very peaceful . Rob the caretaker was very nice and very informative . We loved his dog as well . One thing is I really don't think they should charge for firewood 25 dollars for a wheelbarrow full prolly should come with the airbnb . Maybe charge if you want more. But other than that small thing very nice
The host, Rob, was so very nice to us! He really took care of us and checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. This place could not have been any more relaxing... he even brought prepared firewood for the wood stove! The surrounding area is filled with forest and streams. We had to stop taking pictures because it just wasn't doing the beauty any justice... this place was exactly everything we needed. Colin and Rob could not have been more accommodating for our stay in their home....
The Bliss House is absolutely wonderful :) So many things beautiful things to do around the house and locally. We really enjoyed the trails to stroll around and the wide open spaces that our pup could run around and explore. Rob the local facility manager went out of his way to make us feel right at home and offered local knowledge of places we could experience while out and about. We will definitely be back in the warmer months :)

Hello! We run a meditation center in Miami Beach and were absolutely entranced with the beauty and energy of The Blue Ridge Mountains when we first came to this land in 2010. We originally began developing Wheel of Bliss in 2012 as a retreat space for friends and practitioners from South Florida to spend summers. After receiving multiple requests from different groups to stay on the land, we decided to create a listing on Airbnb to share the possibility of experiencing this beautiful and peaceful land with the community. Since then, we have enjoyed our hosting experience tremendously. We have been able to meet groups from all over the country including spiritual/religious retreat groups, families, Ivy League Universities, campers, and couples! We've added two other facilities, an 825 sq. ft. yurt and a 950 sq. ft. long house with a large garden space that guests can use for weddings and outdoor events.
