The farm house is very beautiful and Elizabeth is friendly and nice. When she spoke to us , always with smile and kindness. I hope I can have chance to come to Lake District and stay one week at her house

Liz was a fantastic host! She really thought of everything - from local recommendations, catering for our dietary requirements, baked goods waiting for us in the afternoons and a mini fridge in the room. The bnb is beautifully presented and furnished - we felt right at home! Thanks for a perfect weekend, we’ll be back!

This was great! a beautiful and clean room with a big bathroom. The breakfast was everything you could hope for. Elizabeth is such a good hostess and tourist guide 😉 Perfect place for some hikes around the B&B, Windermere and Ambleton. We walked to the Brown Horse Inn for a amazing meal. we even went there twice. On a rainy day we went to the cinema in Ambleside.

Beautiful and unique place to stay with the perfect host. I chose to use Cragg House Farm for a short stay for my partner and I when visiting the lakes. We could not be happier with it and had an amazing stay. The location is beautiful and rustic, you truly feel part of the farm. Liz is an incredibly welcoming host and immediately puts you at ease. Breakfast was wonderful and we made full use of what was on offer! Once you read Liz’s directions to the property finding the address is not a problem, but be sure to do this ahead of driving as my maps struggled for signal close to Crook. Liz, thank you for being such a great host and for the enjoyable conversation. The home was sparkling clean and the small little touches (like the Tunnocks wafers!) were much appreciated. Thank you! What a phenomenal place to stay! Liz couldn’t be more helpful. Such a friendly feel to the place, we felt like we were staying at our family’s home. Liz was the perfect host, super responsive and gave great recommendations for things to see and do. The surroundings were amazing, we had a chance to see the lambs and hear the cows! So close to Windermere, perfect spot for visiting the area. I can’t praise Liz’s breakfast enough, full continental breakfast available and the option of cooked breakfast too! Just brilliant. Such a friendly vibe, super clean and attentive host, we loved staying here. We’ll be back!
