Ideal for weekly/monthly stays, corporate travellers, and weekend getaways.
Our stay was amazing from start to finish. We were travelling with a 10 month old baby and the apartment was just perfect. Lisa provided us with a high chair and cot. We felt like quite annoying guests as our plans changed whilst we were there and Lisa was so responsive and extremely accommodating also. We will definitely re-book as it felt like home from home and it’s a really beautiful place to say. 11/10 would recommend
I am from this area originally and this is a perfect spot. Downtown Altrincham but quiet at night. Literally 3 mins walk to bars restaurants shopping etc. 6 mins to Mainline train station and tram network. Easy access to Manchester City Center Apartment perfect. Lisa perfect Everything as promised Best decision we’ve made staying here. Highly recommended
Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in central Altrincham with lounge/kitchen and bathroom. Communication with the host was excellent and access to the property was via a number code on the outside with a key box inside. A minor issue with the electric blinds was rectified very quickly. Property located on the 1st floor with fridge/hob/oven/sink/WiFi and smart TV. Electric wall mounted heaters were welcome as outside was cold and wet. The host allowed us to leave our bags in the property for a few extra hours as the next occupants were arriving late. Beds were comfortable, linen and towels nice and clean. All in all a lovely few days and would stay again.
There are 2 apartments at Old Market Place, number 1 is situated on the first floor of this Tudor listed building, up a single flight of stairs. This apartment is located in the town’s conservation area. The building is in the centre of the town and Altrincham’s hallmark locations are all within walking distance. Old Market Place was once the centre to a bustling town and is, to this date, the backdrop of nostalgia to the new and re-invented Market Street with its thriving, sought after and quaint offering of bars, restaurants, artisan shops and cafes.
The apartment has its own private entrance and once inside, the decor and colours chosen are all in keeping with the historic nature of the listed building. This is a self contained apartment with style and comfort at its core.
The transport network is extremely accessible. There is a main bus, tram and train station (Altrincham Interchange) within 4 minutes walk of the property. These services will aid your travel to anywhere in the UK. For local hotspots like Manchester city centre, Manchester United and Manchester City FC, the tram takes around 20, 25 and 35 minutes, respectively.
Parking is paid on the road outside, in Kingsway St. (free after 5pm until 9am - Mon-Sat, free on Sundays); there is also a multi-storey car park 2 minutes away called The Stamford Quarter (28A George St, Altrincham WA14 1RH).
Alternatively, on road paid parking is available outside the building, which is free after 5pm until 9am (Mon-Sat) and free on Sundays.
