Lovely, recently remodelled stand-alone flat with separate access from house above. Comfortable, secure and private, the flat has a bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, seating/living area and separate double bedroom. The flat also opens on to a spacious and comfortable garden with seating area - great for soaking up the sun (when it comes!) or unwinding in an evening. Perfect for quiet get-aways or contractors wanting their own space.

This stay worked very well for us. Easy to and from the MI. Had all we needed for a one night stay. It was easy to find with the Sat Nav and the instructions we had been given. We’re fine. We found it easily. Thank you.

Driving:
With easy access to the M1 (J39 and J40 both about 10 min) or the M62 (J30 about 15min), as well as general south Wakefield routes, we're well connected to most places. There's plenty of parking along the side of the house so no problems with that.
Public transport:
2 miles from Wakefield Westgate and 1.7 miles from Wakefield Kirkgate stations (both about 8 min drive/£6 taxi), and several bus stops (107, X1 about 5-10min walk, and the 116, 120, 120A, 126, 231 & 232 about 10-15min walk) nearby.
Walking distance:
Thornes Park, Wakefield Golf course, the River Calder, Horbury Lagoon and fishing ponds are all around a 5-10 min walk, and Horbury is a nice 2 miles walk or cycle along the train line and new meadow overlooking the golf course.
Town Centre is about 2 miles away, around 30-40min walk. Several convenience stores and pubs are available within 10-20min walking, though nothing immediately close.
