You won’t forget this glamping experience of a life time. Tucked between trees at the corner of our main house overlooking the gorgeous trickling creek. Just 4 minutes from Taugannock falls state park, 10 minutes from Ithaca, Cayuga lake and 20 minutes from the Seneca lake wine trail. Right around corner from tcat bus stop. Walk out on the tiny house porch and enjoy the start of the day with a cup of French pressed coffee. Experience glamping with our outhouse equipped with a bucket toilet. Pull up to the end of our main driveway right off route 96 where you will find the tiny house on wheels tucked behind a hedge of bushes. Feel free to park as close as you can to the tiny house. As your pulling up you will see a creek on the left side. Feel free to enjoy sitting on the porch as you enjoy the view of the water trickling. On the porch there is a dispenser for water. Feel free to wash dishes with this water, wash hands, or you may drink it if you wish as it comes from our municipal water in our main house. The tiny house is equipped with a propane powered hot plate for you to heat up some water for coffee, cook a boxed dinner or perhaps anything you have brought to cook up on your getaway to the tiny house. Please be cautious when using the propane grill and if you plan on doing a lot of cooking I recommend you bring a small propane tank to attach to it. I have equipped the tiny house with some utensils for cooking as well as some silverware, a mug for coffee etc. but if there is anything you feel you need to bring to prepare your meals I would recommend packing those items. This is a very tiny house. It has a cot sized 3 in. Thick mattress as the bed. And I have supplied a couple of blankets but if you are coming in the winter feel free to bring additional blankets. There is electric in the tiny house but no running water. I have supplied an electric heater to take the edge off those very chilly nights. Please do not leave it running when you are not present. And be courteous in not leaving the door open while the heater is running as we like to save energy as much as possible. You lock the door from the inside of the tiny house when inside with a hook and eye lock. There is an outhouse at the back corner of our property. It is a shed that we repurposed and supplied with a 5 gallon bucket composting toilet that has a toilet seat. We supply wood chips to throw in when you are done using the toilet. Please bring a flashlight as there is no electric in the outbuilding. We also have a fire pit that can be used for campfires outside the tiny house. Please bring your own wood. There is many houses nearby that sell wood bundles (2 places being a mile down Jacksonville road). This is a tiny house with electricity but I like to call it off grid camping because there is no running water, no shower, and no plumbing in the tiny house.
